  1. “well, we’re talking about something that is true for everybody though”. Much of what was said in just the first hour was so deeply relatable makes me wonder if trauma patterns could possibly be so consistent? This isn’t a question of out of doubt- just pointing out how after the third or 4th time I thought “yes or me too” that I started to question & doubt myself instead. This isn’t the first thing to elicit this but I think it’s the first time I have caught it. Looking back, I had the same reaction to much of what was written in Prisoner of Infinity – especially the Kalsched quotes- there was relief at first to have a vocabulary & a picture to put to my experience followed by intense rejection. Anyhow, many thanks to you both.
