Realistically speaking, book sales are largely determined by one’s performance on Amazon these days; that’s just the way it is in a cyber-centralized world.
I received a Tweet today from a reader working w/ Amazon marketing:
I can confirm that it is HIGHLY important to review your favorite authors’ books. HIGHLY. Ideally a book should have minimum 15 reviews & at least a 3.5 star rating for certain algorithms to kick in.
If you have read and enjoyed any of my books, especially Paper Tiger, Seen & Not Seen, Dark Oasis, or Prisoner of Infinity, please take five minutes out to review them at Amazon. Even a single line is enough.
I plan to do the same for the authors I respect. If even a little effort can make a difference, then why not do it?
Thanks in advance!
