  1. Only just started to listen to Isaac’s podcast. But it sounds like he has the same job as I had for almost 24 years. Run for it Isaac I’m only 57 and feel like I’m 70! This should be a therapeutic listen for me.

  2. 26mins in, you said you’re “unfortunately, lamentably dependent” on the psychological freudian/jungian school of thought. It just begs the question how would things be different for you if you weren’t. I suppose we just can’t help but grasp onto some kind of model , maybe just to give us a feeling of progression, a horizontal path forward as opposed to the more vertical ‘now-ness’ of uncertainty/liminalness. For me it’s nonduality schools of thought but I am aware that my experience is kind of squeezed uncomfortably in to that model at the expense of a kind of innocent receptivity.

    • i think a simple test is, can we convey our meanings without relying on the terms belonging to said model? these models are like bike wheels; once you are off & running (referring to direct experience), they come off. Poor models don’t ever come off because they don’t ever allow us to experience riding a bike, just grunting around in circles.
